New partner, leader for New York firm’s international tax services division

Eugene N. Ferraro has joined the New York City office of tax and accounting firm WeiserMazars LLP. He will serve as Partner and Tax Sector Leader for International Tax Services.
Ferraro has 30 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on outbound and inbound international tax planning and compliance as well as transfer pricing matters. As Tax Sector Leader, Ferraro will help expand the global advisory and compliance capabilities across the firm.
WeiserMazars’ International Tax Practice offers clients a range of services including: global tax compliance and reporting, cross border structuring, mergers and acquisitions, expatriate tax services for high net worth individuals and global executives, transfer pricing and foreign desks.
Ferraro most recently served as the New York office international tax practice leader for a major national accounting firm and, previously, as an international tax partner in the New York office of a Big 4 accounting firm.
In these roles, he has advised clients on a variety of international tax issues and also served as the U.S. tax liaison partner for one firm’s French, Italian and Swiss practices. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ferraro held a senior position with an investment banking affiliate of BNP Paribas in New York, advising clients on complex asset-based financing strategies.

Ferraro is a licensed CPA in New York, with an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Fordham University. He has taught as an Adjunct Professor of International Taxation at the Fordham University Graduate School of Business and frequently speaks at professional conferences and corporate events.
